We particularly appreciated that ERA were always willing to see it as a collaboration, taking on board our needs and design choices, without trying to push us in one direction, while also providing honest feedback.

This is transformation of a dilapidated double fronted Victorian house on the Islington-Hackney borders, featured in Wallpaper magazine and was selected for New London Architecture’s Don’t Move Improve exhibition. It included opening up the cellular lower ground floor, adding a dramatic new steel stair, which was re-orientated to focus the attention on the lush new jungly garden, seen through slender framed sliding doors by ODC Glass.
