WHO WE ARE

We are award winning architects in Islington and have been specialising in high end design led residential work for over ten years. Between us we have nearly five decades of experience of designing and leading residential projects. We have had over a dozen publications in national and international design magazines including Grand Designs and Wallpaper*. London Open House have invited us to open one of our projects to the public on Open House weekend and we were selected for New London Architecture’s Don’t Move Improve exhibition and publication.

We lead extension, renovation and new build house projects from first ideas to construction completion, with teams of trusted consultants and builders.  Most of our projects have budgets of between £300,000 to £800,000, but size is less important than the potential to make something beautiful.

We are a small practice by choice and all our projects get our full attention. We are very happy for you to speak to our clients and see our work. We think all our clients would say we are friendly and approachable and look after them well.

Ms H, client of Islington House – Cerulean: “We particularly appreciated that ERA were always willing to see it as a collaboration, taking on board our needs and design choices, without trying to push us in one direction, while also providing honest feedback.”

Mr D, client of Canonbury House – Thor: “Of the three major works we’ve done to our house, this was the best designed, managed & built”
